PPA Cover Teacher (EYFS andndash; Key Stage 2)

Location: Rochester, Medway
Salary: andpound;163 - andpound;223 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30 am andndash; 3:30 pm
Contract: Full-time or part-time, long-term from September 2025 (initially until Christmas, with potential to extend)

We are working in partnership with a well-regarded Rochester-based primary school known for its inclusive ethos and diverse student community. The school is seeking a dedicated and engaging PPA Cover Teacher who can provide consistent teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

This role offers flexibility andndash; the school is open to full-time or part-time candidates andndash; and will begin in September 2025, initially until Christmas, with potential for extension.

About the Role:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across different year groups as part of PPA cover
• Leading classes from EYFS through to Year 6, including teaching PE
• Managing behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
• Feeding back to class teachers and contributing to ongoing pupil progress
• Providing reliable and consistent presence, which is especially important for the children

Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching across primary key stages, ideally including EYFS
• Be confident delivering a range of subjects, including PE
• Be adaptable, proactive, and resilient in a dynamic school setting
• Be a strong communicator and team player
• Be committed to safeguarding and inclusion
• Be eligible to work in the UK (valid visa required)
