Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded, supportive primary school in Watford, Hertfordshire, to recruit an engaging and flexible PPA Cover Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner or a newly qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) to join a school where teamwork, professional development and pupil progress are at the heart of everything they do.

Role Overview
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across the primary age range (EYFS, KS1 and KS2) to cover teachers during their Planning, Preparation and Assessment time.
- Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups and curriculum areas.
- Ensure continuity of learning by following the class teacher''s planning and providing effective feedback.
- Foster a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and challenged.
- Uphold the school''s behaviour policy and safeguarding procedures at all times.
- Work closely with year group teams to contribute to the wider life of the school when needed.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working within a primary school setting is desirable, but ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
- Strong organisational skills and the confidence to teach in a variety of year groups.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
