Job Title: Powertrain Engineer Duration: 6 Months Location: Surrey (Hybrid) Salary: 40 (Outside IR35) About the role We are looking for an experienced Powertrain engineer on a contract basis to support the development and integration of advanced electrical and electronic systems. Key Responsibilities Support the integration of powertrain-related electrical/electronic systems within the overall vehicle electrical architecture. Work on systems including transmission, engine, fuelling, power electronics, cooling systems, HVAC, and user climate control. Design and develop electrical systems for powertrain functions in line with vehicle requirements, functional safety, and certification standards. Define distributed system architectures, signal database requirements, and UI-related interactions for powertrain features.
