PowerServer Engineer Location: London Hybrid 60% office 40% remote Duration: 30/11/2026 Rate - 257 MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA Role Description: Job Summary We are seeking an experienced PowerServer Engineer to support audit, investigation, and strategic planning activities related to our existing PowerBuilder/PowerServer applications. The ideal candidate will assess current systems, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations for optimization, modernization, or migration. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive audit and assessment of existing PowerServer/PowerBuilder applicationsConduct root cause analysis and investigations for performance, stability, and scalability issuesAnalyze application architecture, deployment setup, and integration workflowsIdentify technical risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunitiesPrepare detailed assessment reports, findings, and recommendationsCollaborate with stakeholders to define modernization or migration strategyCreate roadmaps and implementation plans for future upgrades or enhancementsProvide guidance on best practices, security, and performance optimizationSupport decision-making through technical insights and feasibility analysisRequired Skills and QualificationsStrong experience with PowerBuilder and PowerServerProven experience in application auditing, system analysis, or consulting rolesSolid understanding of client-server and web-based architecturesExperience in performance tuning and ..... full job details .....
