The Company
NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established and growing organisation within the powered access sector. Known for their high-quality fleet and strong reputation across the UK, this business continues to invest in both its equipment and its engineers.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Powered Access Engineer to cover the Manchester area.
The Role
As a Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment across customer sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Service, maintenance and repair of powered access machinery
- Diagnosing faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Working on equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts and cherry pickers
- Attending breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime for customers
- Carrying out LOLER inspections (if qualified)
- Completing job reports accurately and efficiently
- Representing the business professionally on-site
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working on powered access equipment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- IPAF qualification (desirable)
- CAP qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- A proactive, reliable and customer-focused approach
The Package
- £35,000 – £45,000 basic salary
- Company van
