We’re working with a well-established, highly respected plant hire business looking to bring in an experienced Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join their depot in West London.

This is a hands-on role working on a wide range of powered access equipment — perfect for someone who knows their way around MEWPs and wants to be part of a busy, well-run depot.

The Role

• Carrying out service, maintenance and repairs on powered access equipment
• Working on a range of kit including scissor lifts, boom lifts and cherry pickers
• Diagnosing faults across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Completing pre-delivery inspections (PDI) to a high standard
• Ensuring all equipment is compliant and ready for hire
• Working closely with the hire desk and depot team to keep operations running smoothly

The Candidate

• Proven experience working on powered access equipment (MEWPs)
• Strong fault-finding ability across hydraulics, electrics and engines
• Ideally holds a CAP qualification (or working towards)
• Background in plant hire, powered access or similar environments
• Ability to work independently in a workshop environment
• Full UK driving licence
