Job Title: Power Systems Engineer - Power Electronics Design and Modelling Location: Rugeley Salary: DOE Are you an experienced Power Systems Engineer with a passion for designing innovative power electronics solutions? I am looking for a talented engineer to join a growing engineering team, developing cutting-edge power electronics for high-reliability Marine, Aerospace and Defence applications. You will play a key role in designing and modelling advanced power systems, working on technologies including motor drives, inverters, converters and power management systems. The Role As a Power Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, modelling, simulation and validation of advanced power electronic systems. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will develop efficient, reliable and high-performance power conversion solutions from concept through to verification. Key Responsibilities Design and develop power electronic circuits including DC-DC converters, AC-DC rectifiers, inverters and motor drives Model and simulate power electronics using MATLAB, Simulink and LTspice Develop digital control strategies and optimise system performance, stability and efficiency Produce system-level simulations to evaluate transient and steady-state behaviour Support design verification through testing, analysis and correlation of simulation and hardware results Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate power electronics into ..... full job details .....
