Power Press Setter Operator

We are currently seeking an-Experienced Press Setter/Tool Setter-and part-operator within the company. The company undertakes presswork, Deep drawn components, and toolmaking amongst other operations. Working in a variety of standard and exotic metals including Aluminium, Steel, Stainless Steel and others..

Responsibilities/Expectations

You would be expected of the following:

• Set mechanical presses up to 800-tons.
• Set hydraulic presses up to 200 tons-
• Set tandem presses
• Operate presses when required (common on development jobs or small batch work).
• To have good housekeeping.
• To have good organisation skills (especially with press shop tooling).
• To have a clear capability of reading and working to technical drawings.
• Any additional experience/capability on lathes will be an advantage.

Qualifications

Candidates should be experienced, possess relevant certification and have a proven track record in Press Setting, including the setting of: Mechanical, Hydraulic, Tandem with other press shop related machinery.-
