The role also provides additional manufacturing process cover across Paint, Degrease, Berk Spray and associated surface treatment activities, supporting operational flexibility within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Power Press Operations Provide operational cover for Power Press activities as required. Operate power presses in accordance with job operation cards and work instructions. Set up tooling and dies and adjust press parameters including stroke and tonnage as required. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work cards accurately. Carry out first-off and in-process inspection checks prior to formal quality inspection. Ensure tooling is used correctly and maintained in serviceable condition. Carry out minor machine maintenance and daily equipment checks. Report defects, equipment faults or non-conformances immediately.
