Power Platform Developer

The Power Platform Developer utilises their passion for application development, analytics and data visualisation to drive Power Platform initiatives for Core29 clients. The position will work with both IT and development professionals as well as key stakeholders across Core29 clients to understand the business needs, ensuring applications are functional, intuitive and appropriately designed, and data is understandable, accessible and accurate through interactive reporting solutions to drive informed decision making.The role of Power Platform Developer within Core29 must ensure high quality documented output, a business focussed delivery, and strict time management.Typically, Core29 will scope requirements, meet key players, identify functional and data gaps, and make recommendations where improved application processes and reporting can lead to improved productivity, data driven decisions and improved business insights. We ensure the client has ownership of the tools once implemented and we always remain independent and transparent throughout delivery.The Power Platform developer will:Gather business requirements through engagement with clientsDesign and develop applications for business users through Power PlatformDesign appropriate back-end data structures, and intuitive front-end interfacesDesign and build Power Pages solutions.Build and modify dimensional data models for analyticsBuild and modify ETL process to incorporate data from multiple sourcesVisualise data for business customers through reportingApply best practises and optimal methods to ensure performance and efficiency in solutions.Engage with users to demonstrate value and encourage usage of solutions; to be an advocate of Power PlatformAdminister Workspaces, Environments, SharePoint sites and related componentsDemonstrate and communicate an understanding of licensing modelsEnsure solutions are built with precision, attention to detail, and appropriate validation.Create technical and maintenance documentationCommunicate across all levels of a business and with third parties.Proficiency with Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages.Experience with data visualisation, ETL processes, and data modelling for reporting.Understanding of data platforms and design, including Dataverse, SharePoint, SQLBe detail oriented and technically mindedExcellent communication skills with the ability to express complex concepts in a straight-forward mannerAble to function both as part of a team or as an individual, depending on the projectCore29 are leaders in business transformation using innovative technology.
