Astute''s Power team is proud to be partnering with a leading Biomass company to hire an Outside Operator on a FTC for 8 months to join their Power Station in Thetford.The Production Operator role comes with a starting salary of c. 35,000 + overtime + private medical + other benefits.If you have experience on a heavy industrial site with hands on maintenance routines and checks, and ideally have mobile plant licenses, then upload your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Operator role Reporting to the Shift Team Leader you will: Perform routine operational checks and inspections.Operate plant systems and equipment following established operating procedures.Collaborate as a key member of the shift team to maintain safe and efficient plant operations.Conduct basic maintenance tasks in line with approved maintenance processes and standards.Diagnose plant issues and propose effective solutions.Carry out pre-start inspections, commissioning, and decommissioning procedures.Provide clear, accurate, and complete shift handovers.Follow and promote all safety practices and operational procedures.Assist the Shift Team Leader in preparing safety-related documentation.Support and, when necessary, cover responsibilities within the fuel and ash operations team, including driving mobile plantThis role will be working 12-hour shifts - full shift rota can be disclosed upon request Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following:Ideally a NVQ Level 2 ..... full job details .....
