The role spans early device concept through to prototype testing and manufacturable designs, collaborating closely with process, packaging, and system engineering teams. Devices include MOSFETs, diodes, and power modules for applications such as electric vehicles, renewable energy inverters, and industrial power systems. Technical Scope Design and simulate SiC power devices using TCAD or equivalent simulation tools. Optimize device structures for performance metrics including breakdown voltage, on-resistance, switching speed, and thermal performance. Collaborate with process engineers to ensure manufacturability and scalability. Develop detailed design documentation, specifications, and reports.
