Power BI Specialist/DAX/SQL

Power BI Developer/Specialist Power BI | DAX | SQL | Contract (6 months) Talent Today are partnering with a client to recruit an experienced Power BI Developer for a delivery-focused contract assignment. This is a hands-on role focused on building high-quality reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, with a strong emphasis on data modelling, performance optimisation and advanced DAX development. The successful contractor will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable dashboards, optimise reporting performance, and ensure data models support reliable business insight. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards, reports and data models Write and optimise complex DAX measures and calculations Build and optimise Power Query transformations and ETL processes Design efficient semantic data models to support analytics and reporting Improve Power BI performance across visuals, measures and datasets Develop paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder Work with SQL data sources to deliver clean, reliable reporting datasets Embed Power BI reports into Appian applications Key Skills Strong Power BI development experience Advanced DAX and Power Query Strong SQL skills Data modelling and semantic layer design Power BI performance optimisation Experience building Paginated Reports (Report Builder) Experience embedding Power BI into Appian would be highly beneficial Talent Today are acting as a recruitment agency in relation ..... full job details .....
