Power BI Analyst

Location: Birmingham (3 days per week on-site) Contract: Initial 3-6-Month ContractHays are delighted to be working in partnership with a local authority to recruit an experienced Power BI Analyst on an initial 3-6-month contract.This role sits within the Performance Team in Street Scene, City Operations, a key function responsible for performance management, KPI monitoring, dashboard development, service efficiency projects, compliance reporting, and the delivery of management information to support operational decision-making.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organisation''s reporting capability, automating manual processes, and developing robust data solutions that provide valuable operational insights across City Operations services.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, administer and maintain Power BI reporting solutions.Design and build high-quality dashboards, reports and management information products to support operational and strategic decision-making.Create and maintain performance dashboards and KPI reporting suites.Extract, transform and manage data from multiple systems and datasets.Develop and maintain structured data repositories to support reporting and governance requirements.Build automated reporting solutions that transform system outputs and data exports into accessible, user-friendly insights.Develop Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort.Support the ongoing improvement of data ..... full job details .....
