About The Role:

We are recuriting for a fencing company specialising in the manufacture and installation of high-quality metal fencing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Due to increased demand, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Powder Coater to join the production team.

The Role:

As a Powder Coater, you will be responsible for preparing and coating metal fencing components to a high standard, ensuring durability, consistency, and a professional finish across all products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing metal fencing products for coating (cleaning, masking, pre-treatment)
• Applying powder coating using manual or automated spray equipment
• Curing coated items in ovens to specified temperatures and times
• Inspecting finished products for quality, consistency, and defects
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring a clean, safe working environment
• Assisting with general workshop duties when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in powder coating or a similar finishing role
• Knowledge of metal preparation and coating processes
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience working with fencing or fabricated metal products
• Forklift licence
• Familiarity with different coating powders and finishes
