Job title: Powder Coater Location: Sudbury Hourly Rate: £13 - £14.50 DOE Contract: Temp - Perm Hours: Monday - Thursday An opportunity has arisen for a Powder Coater for our client, based in Sudbury, Suffolk. As the Powder Coater your duties will include: Prepare metal components for coating, including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment processes Apply powder coating using manual or automated spray equipment Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures and curing times Inspect coated parts to ensure finish quality, thickness, and consistency meet specifications Identify and rectify coating defects if not in line with our quality specifications Carry out basic maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment and work areas Follow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules An ideal candidate for the Powder Coater will have: Previous experience in powder coating, paint spraying, or a similar manufacturing environment (preferred but not always required) Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Good manual dexterity and attention to detail Understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes (advantageous) Ideally, you will have experience within a similar position.
