This temporary Postal Delivery Driver role in Plymouth starts immediately, paying £15.06 per hour for Saturday-only shifts from 8am to 5pm. You will begin at the local delivery office sorting and loading items before using a handheld device for navigation and signature capture. The position involves delivering letters and parcels by foot and vehicle, with walking up to eight miles daily. You must lift mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, using trolleys where needed. Strong customer service skills and comfort working independently outdoors are essential for this ongoing contract with Pertemps supporting Parcelforce.

About the Role:
Pertemps is proud to support Parcelforce in recruiting Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Drivers in the Plymouth area.

Key Responsibilities:

Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred)
Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
Excellent time management and customer service skills
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
