About the Role

Pertemps seeks a Postal Delivery Driver to join Royal Mail operations in Tewkesbury. This temporary position pays £13.69 hourly for 35 weekly hours, scheduled Monday through Friday between 07:30 and 14:30, with additional weekend availability required. Shifts begin at the local delivery office, where you will sort and load mail, then use a handheld device for navigation and signature capture. The role involves walking up to eight miles daily while delivering letters and parcels on foot or by vehicle, plus lifting bags weighing up to 16kg. Strong customer service skills and comfort working outdoors independently are essential. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
· Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
· Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
· Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
· Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
· Use delivery trolleys when required
Requirements:
· Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
· Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
· Excellent time management and customer service skills
· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
