About the Role

Based in Folkestone, this full-time Postal Delivery Driver - Folkestone, RM role with Pertemps supporting Royal Mail runs Monday to Friday with weekend availability needed. Hours total 30 each week, covering a 1:30pm to 8pm shift at £13.69 hourly on a temporary contract. Duties begin at the local delivery office, sorting and loading mail before heading out. A handheld device handles signature capture and navigation. Deliveries happen by foot or vehicle, involving walks of up to eight miles daily plus lifting bags and parcels weighing as much as twenty kilogrammes. Applicants should enjoy independent outdoor work and possess solid customer service abilities.

About the Role:
Pertemps is proud to support Royal Mail in recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Folkestone.

Key Responsibilities:
· Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
· Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
· Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day
· Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
· Use delivery trolleys when required
Requirements:
· Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
· Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
· Excellent time management and customer service skills
· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
