Post Room Operative - Fareham

My client is seeking a reliable and professional Post Room Operative to manage the handling and distribution of all internal and external mail, parcels, and packages in the Fareham area. The role requires ensuring that all items are processed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, franking, and distributing mail and parcels to the correct collection and drop-off points, as well as completing electronic scanning of documents and items. You will manage the franking machine, including refilling and maintaining scales, and keep cost charts up to date. The role also involves delivering paper stock to printers, monitoring supply levels, and ensuring meeting rooms are correctly set up and stocked with stationery. Additionally, you will support the delivery of IT equipment and furniture to staff working from home, using the company electric van, so a valid driving licence is essential.
