Post Fusion Operator - Wallsend, Tyne & Wear

Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Post Fusion Operator to join our client based in Wallsend, Tyne & Wear.

As a Post Fusion Operator, you will be responsible for machining materials into finished components, operating a range of production equipment, and carrying out quality checks to ensure all finished products meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely handle materials and finished components, following appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Set up, operate and monitor drilling machines, bandsaws, wiresaws and other production equipment to machine materials in line with customer specifications.
• Carry out visual, dimensional and quality inspections on finished components.
• Follow the production plan to meet customer requirements, production targets and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment while adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment, including manual handling activities.
• A valid and in-date accredited Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow production schedules.

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a three-shift rotating pattern, so candidates must be flexible and able to work all three shifts:

• 7:00am - 3:00pm
• 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• 11:00pm - 7:00am

Salary

-26,364 per annum, increasing to -29,345 per annum following successful completion of a 12-week probationary period.
