Post-Completion Paralegal

This role supports a high-performing Secured Lending team, managing all post-completion formalities on freehold and leasehold property transactions. It is a hands-on position focused on Land Registry submissions, SDLT compliance and ensuring matters are concluded accurately and efficiently following completion.Client DetailsOur client is a well-regarded UK law firm with a strong property and secured lending practice. The firm is known for its collaborative culture, emphasis on quality and compliance, and commitment to developing its support teams.DescriptionWorking closely with fee earners and the wider secured lending team, the Post Completion Assistant will take responsibility for all post-completion aspects of property matters. This includes submitting applications to the Land Registry, dealing with requisitions, handling SDLT submissions, notifying lenders of registration, and closing files in line with firm procedures and regulatory requirements. The role also involves liaising with lenders, clients and third parties, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring files are fully compliant.ProfileThe successful candidate will have at least 12 months'' experience in a post-completion role within a UK solicitors'' firm, with a good working knowledge of Land Registry processes, SDLT and post-completion requirements.
