Responsibilities

Develop deep knowledge of the securitized and structured credit markets and become conversant in the broader aspects of the Houlihan Lokey businessApply this knowledge to build and maintain data sets, and refine our valuation algorithmsAnalyze client portfolios of structured credit securitiesModel complex, bespoke transactions using either Excel or our in-house modelling softwareAssist the core engineering team on software development projectsResolve client queries and assist with product demosPrepare for interviews: approximately 48 hours prior to your interview, you will receive a brief task requiring basic analysis in Excel. This task will involve working through a structured finance deal scenario. No prior financial expertise is required, and the task is designed to take about one hour to complete.Interview process overview: two remote interviews via Microsoft Teams with two product and engineering team members each; one discussion will focus on your approach and findings from the Excel taskRound 2 – In-person meetings in our London office with additional team members, including logic-based discussions and conversations about your interests and motivationsTravel expenses: we will cover reasonable travel costs for your visit to our officeRound 3 – Final interview in the London office, with the possibility of a job offer if all goes wellEach stage is designed to assess skills, fit with the team, and to provide insight into our work environmentQualifications

A degree in a numerate or hard science discipline from a top universityA keen interest in working in the financial marketsSelf-motivated, flexible, and keen to work in a collegial environmentPreferred Qualifications
