Portfolio Sales Manager
to join the team in our Midlands and South West branch and is responsible for managing a variety of existing accounts and developing new ones across Ireland and Northern Ireland. You will attend meetings for both new and existing businesses to assist with existing contracts and develop new business opportunities. You will be tasked with maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential new clients and to help achieve this you will need to work closely with our operational teams. You will have personal targets to manage and ensure they are achieved. We are looking for a dynamic individual who brings with them market knowledge and the tenacity to develop existing accounts, proactive account management and also able to secure new business opportunities.Duties and Responsibilties:Drive and maximise portfolio growth opportunities through robust sales strategy and action plansAccountable for developing a strong sales pipeline and winning new service contracts from the open marketConverting newly installed lifts (PCM) to ongoing service contracts prior to the end of warrantyUpselling Schindler’s digital services to new and existing customersTo renegotiate existing service contracts prior to their renewal date, reviewing poor performing contracts to improve profitabilitySupport the branches for complex service contracts and all large portfolio tenders where requiredMaking Customer Visits and PresentationsMonitor and manage discount levelsCollaborate and active involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process for service salesContinuous monitoring of the contract portfolio developmentDevelop and support sales processes, tools, guidelines and monitor appropriate implementation into the branchManage the annual portfolio price increase, on a monthly basisSupport branch in any questions regarding processes and toolsMonitor and analyse regularly the competitor strategies and market developmentsAnalyse root causes on significant cancellation/lossTo adhere fully to the company core valuesAll employees are required to work in accordance with established Company Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current Irish legal requirements and Schindler Group safety requirementsEmployees must comply with Company Health and Safety requirements and set a personal example of safe behaviourEmployees will be required to contribute to the Company safety objectives, where necessary by maintaining/monitoring current safety systems under their direct control and implementing agreed changes (where applicable) to Schindler Ltd occupational health and safety management systemCandidate Requirements:Positive self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude experienced in generating new leads and converting sales opportunitiesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain long term relationships with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrable success in new business sales; you should have a proven track record of delivering growth within a service contract sales environmentMotivated by results and strives to exceed expectationsHigh standard of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to prioritise and multi-task large workload fluctuations at a high level whilst remaining calm under pressureShares information and keeps stakeholders informedAbility to prioritise and multi-task at a high level whilst remaining calm under pressureComputer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience working with SAP and CRMs would be advantageousFull Irish driving licence and willingness to travel is essentialExperienced account manager within the lift industry preferredJoin our purpose-driven organization.
