Portfolio Lead - Enterprise Systems

Drive the performance and motivate multi-capability teams to deliver continuous improvement and transformational initiatives to time, cost and quality standards. Foster an environment that supports high performance, collaboration, and accountability across diverse skill sets.Ensure the delivery of value through ongoing monitoring and driving plans to optimise outcomes for end users. Implement robust tracking mechanisms to measure and report on value realisation against defined success criteria.Maintain excellent relationships with senior stakeholders in business areas related to the business process. Work collaboratively to optimize business processes and ensure successful embedding of new ways of working across the organisation.Oversee the initiative planning process including business analysis, change and communications management. Ensure initiatives are properly scoped, sequenced, and resourced effectively to maximize delivery success and minimize operational disruption.Ensure the resource required for end-to-end initiative delivery within the business process is identified upfront, including both project and business resource requirements. Coordinate resource allocation across multiple initiatives and business priorities.Lead governance and reporting activities across the business process, ensuring compliance with organisational standards. Effectively represent the business process in senior-level governance forums and maintain transparent communication with all stakeholders.Oversee the estimation and control of initiative and ongoing operational costs, ensuring financial sustainability within allocated budgets. Provide regular financial reporting and maintain accountability for budget performance across the portfolio.Identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities related to the assigned business process. Conduct regular horizon scanning to ensure the portfolio remains aligned with industry best practices and technological advancement.Key Requirements
Experience / Requirements EssentialProven success in portfolio management and strategic delivery, with demonstrated experience in leading business process improvement and technology transformation initiatives.Strong background in business analysis, change management, and communications management, with the ability to scope, sequence, and resource complex initiatives effectively.Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management at senior levels, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse business areas and organisational functions.Experience in financial management including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting within a portfolio or programme context.Proven ability in business case development with experience in benefits estimation, assumption validation, and long-term value tracking.Experience in governance and reporting activities, with knowledge of organisational compliance standards and senior-level forum representation.Experience / Requirements Desirable
Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly in delivering business process improvements and technology solutions within healthcare organisations.Experience with emerging technologies and digital transformation initiatives within regulated industries.Background in strategic planning and roadmap development with experience in multi-year initiative planning.Benefits
