Porter/Driver's Mate

Corr Recruitment-is working with a client specialising in delivery of the precious or specialist cargo and we are looking to recruit several Drivers mates / porters / drivers assistants to join their team on a temp to perm or ongoing basis.

Location: Swindon SN4

Pay rate:--13.25 - Paid Weekly

Start Time: 04:00-06.00am, Monday to Friday, 10h shifts plus overtime on daily basis

The Role:

• Supporting on site to deliver into location and checking access for the vehicle is there
• Helping the experienced driver deliver products in a professional and friendly manner, support in unwrapping, assembling and lifting.
• Very good command of English, well spoken
• Excellent Customer Service and friendly and well mannered attitude,
• Updating apps and paperwork as required.

The Person:

• Previous experience of delivering goods would be an advantage.
• The ability to keep to deadlines set
• Be presentable in appearance to represent the company well
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be friendly and helpful to customers.
• Must pay attention to the products

You also must be reliable, committed to work and be available at short notice. Shifts can be up to 12h long, however there is a possibility that some days shifts may be extended to 15h.
