Temporary Housekeeping Porter£12.71 per hour Full-time Immediate startWe are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Porter to join a busy Estates and Services environment on a temporary basis. The role plays a key part in maintaining high standards across the site, supporting the Housekeeping team and wider facilities operation.The RoleWorking as part of the Housekeeping Portering team, you will provide essential porterage and outdoor maintenance support to ensure services are delivered to a consistently high standard. Duties include waste management, laundry movements, external cleaning, and general site support as directed by the Events and Facilities Manager.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLaundry delivery and collection for boarding housesRubbish and recycling collection across the site and correct disposal, including use of waste compactorsSupervision and upkeep of the central waste and recycling compound, including disposal of bulk itemsSweeping and general maintenance of all external areasRemoval of cobwebs and debris from building exteriorsCleaning of external paintwork to stretch heightExternal window cleaning at lower levelsUse of high-pressure washer for paths, buildings and chewing gum removalDelivery of cleaning materials and disposables to Housekeeping staff as requiredAssisting with furniture moves when neededResponding to task requests as directed by the Events and Facilities ManagerSupporting the Housekeeping Department during peak ..... full job details .....
