Porter

We are looking for friendly, efficient and motivated Customer Delivery Porters to help deliver large items to customers across Exeter and surrounding areas for a well known retailer. All days available from -12.45 per hour, plus holiday and pension opportunities.

Duties/Job Description.

Support the driver to complete the standard installation and assembly services (including disconnection) of free-standing appliances, standard TVs and furniture in customers'' homes in a safe, competent manner aligned to the site operating procedures.

Have ability and confidence to call customers communicating delivery expectation and timings.

Assist and support driver with route planning

Deliver outstanding service to every customer as a Brand ambassador for our client.

Demonstrate diligence and care throughout the delivery at all times, providing an outstanding end to end customer experience. Contributing to a safe working environment

Early starts - our shifts start at 06.00 am and we expect you to have good time keeping. We do also have potential of other shift patterns but this is not guaranteed.

4 hour induction including manual handling. This will be paid provided you complete all training and your initial shifts

You will be expected to look smart and presentable as you are dealing with customers on an every day basis and must wear safety boots. A high vis will be provided.

-Full training will be provided, taking place onsite in Exeter

-You will also have opportunities to pick up extra work in our Warehouse.

-You will need your own transport as local transport is not accessible.

-Able to carry out heavy lifting and happy to work with large items
