Port Vehicle Movement Driver

The Opportunity Westray Recruitment Group is recruiting 15 to 20 reliable and safety-conscious drivers to support the arrival of large car vessels carrying brand-new vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to work within a busy port environment, driving brand-new cars from the vessel and parking them safely in designated bays. Please be aware that this is not consistent, full-time employment. On average, successful candidates can expect approximately two 12-hour shifts every 10 days. Work is dependent on vessel arrivals, and shift dates, times and availability may change at short notice. The first vessel is currently expected to arrive on 10th August 2026; however, vessel schedules are subject to change. The Role As a Port Vehicle Movement Driver, you will board the vessel and carefully drive brand-new vehicles to allocated parking areas within the port. As all vehicles are new, the highest standards of care, cleanliness and professionalism must be maintained. Full PPE must be worn, and all procedures must be followed to protect both employees and the vehicles.
