Tug DriversBased at Portsmouth International PortImmediate startTemporaryMonday to SundayShifts are usually 3 / 4 hrs, and you will be paid 8hrs each shift 15.00 Early and Day shift 17.00 evening shift About the Role: We are currently seeking several experienced and reliable TUG RORO Drivers to join our client based in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and cargo within the port/industrial site using a RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) tug vehicle. You will be responsible for transporting trailers, containers, and vehicles in a busy, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Operate TUG vehicles to move trailers, containers, and vehicles within the port / terminal area.Ensure the safe and efficient loading / unloading of cargo in a timely manner.Perform daily safety checks on the TUG vehicle and report any faults or maintenance issues.Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.Communicate effectively with port / yard staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.Maintain accurate logs of work completed and equipment usage.Assist with any other yard operations as required.Requirements:Valid UK driving license ideally with a TUG Masters LicensePrevious experience operating TUG vehicles, or similar heavy equipment, is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a port/industrial environment.Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate ..... full job details .....
