This is a hands-on transport operations role, working with drivers, planners and the fleet team to keep the daily operation running smoothly. You will be involved in planning and allocating work, monitoring vehicles and drivers, dealing with delays and helping to keep the operation efficient and cost-effective. The Role - Port Operator Plan and allocate daily work across a fleet of vehicles. Route vehicles and ensure work is planned efficiently. Monitor jobs throughout the day and deal with delays or operational issues. Expedite work where required. Manage vehicle and driver utilisation.
