Port Operative Night shift

Job Title: Port Worker

Location: Immingham

Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Pay: -12.21 - 15.07 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Night Shift Port Workers. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of port activities during the night, including cargo handling, equipment operation, and maintaining safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload cargo from ships, trucks, and containers.
• Operate port machinery and equipment safely (training provided where necessary).
• Inspect and secure cargo to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and support the overall flow of operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a port, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred (but not essential).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual work.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at night in varying weather conditions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to strict safety procedures.
• Drivers licence is preferred but not mandatory unless plant driving.
• Opportunities with a full driving licence to upskill internally to Tug, Tipper, RoRo, Loading shovel driving on guaranteed hour contracts
