Skilled Labourers required at Immingham Dock. 12.21 - 15.07 per hour12 hour shifts.UKDL preferred.Full time and Part-time roles available with Excellent Opportunity for training.The Humber ports operate 7 days a week giving opportunity and flexibility to working patterns.What is the job role of a Port Operative?Stafforce port operatives support the UK''s supply chain from discharge to distribution.No two days are the same in shipping and a port operative may cover many different roles which include:Stevedore / Quayside dutiesPlant driving including Forklift Trucks, Payloaders, Shovels, Tugs and Mobile harbour cranesWeighbridge or GatehouseStock countsIndustrial cleaningTraffic Marshall and Vehicle banksmanDesirable:Full UK driving licenceValid or Expired Counterbalance Forklift TruckHGV licenceValid or Expired Payloader / Shovel LicenceExperience in similar role such as port operative, stevedore, CSCS labourer, plant driver, forklift driver, shovel driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman, crane driver, quarry operative, warehouse operative, weighbridge is highly desirablePrevious experience working with commodities such as Steel, 1t Bags or TimberExperience operating a radioThis job not quite the right fit?
