Poppy Appeal Finance Officer

Are you an organised finance professional with excellent attention to detail and a passion for supporting a meaningful cause? We are looking for a Poppy Appeal Finance Officer to join our dedicated Poppy Appeal Finance team on a part time basis. This role plays an important part in ensuring Poppy Appeal income is processed accurately, recorded correctly and managed in line with robust financial controls. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Fundraising and Poppy Appeal Operations, you will help provide the financial administration and operational support that underpins one of the UK''s most recognised fundraising campaigns. As Poppy Appeal Finance Officer, you will support the accurate processing and reconciliation of Poppy Appeal income, maintaining high quality financial records and helping to ensure reliable reporting. You will be responsible for a range of finance administration activities, contributing to the smooth and effective delivery of the Poppy Appeal. Reporting to the Poppy Appeal Finance manager, key responsibilities will include: - Process and record Poppy Appeal income accurately - Complete reconciliations of income records and financial transactions - Perform routine financial checks, validations and data quality reviews - Investigate and resolve routine discrepancies - Maintain accurate financial records, databases and spreadsheets - Support the preparation of financial reports and management information - Respond to finance-related queries from ..... full job details .....
