Pool Worker - Domestic Abuse Services

Right now, we are looking for a Pool Worker to play a pivotal role in our Domestic Abuse Services across London Boroughs of Richmond, Wandsworth, Brent, Ealing, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Croydon and Merton. Sounds great, what will I be doing? As a Pool Worker you will provide vital staffing cover across our refuge services to ensure continuity of support for women and children when staffing gaps arise. This is a pan-London role with no fixed base, requiring travel to different refuge locations as needed. In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide practical and emotional support to women living in refuge accommodation, helping them to increase their safety, wellbeing, confidence, and independence. You will manage a caseload, deliver keywork sessions, develop personalised safety and support plans, and work collaboratively with service users to help them achieve their goals and move towards independent living. You will play a key role in safeguarding adults and children, liaising with statutory and community agencies, supporting housing and move-on plans, and facilitating activities that promote empowerment, recovery, and social inclusion.
