This is a hands-on, precision engineering role working on aircraft components to customer-defined specifications and aerospace quality standards. As a Polisher/Fettler you will be responsible for carrying out deburring and polishing of parts within a machine shop environment. Duties Removing burrs and sharp edges using files, scrapers and rotary tools Grind/polish materials to drawing requirements using air/hand tools to achieve the required finish. Light polishing of various steel and aluminium components Visual inspection of completed products. Completing appropriate documentation.
