The RoleEcho Managed Services are seeking a proactive and strategic PMO Lead (6-month FTC) to drive programme governance, delivery assurance, and stakeholder engagement across Echo’s software implementation projects. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager to ensure clarity, control, and consistency across all workstreams. This is a high-impact role where your ability to mobilise forums, own risk management, and influence stakeholders will be key to successful outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate closely with the Programme Manager to shape and execute programme governance
Mobilise and facilitate forums with internal stakeholders and external clients to drive alignment and decision-making
Own and maintain the programme’s risk and issue management log, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
Lead the creation of RAID logs, change control processes, and dependency mapping
Produce high-quality reporting packs for internal and external programme boards
Monitor project performance using KPIs, dashboards, and RAG status tracking
Coordinate communication plans across workstreams to ensure transparency and shared goals
Maintain centralised documentation repositories and ensure version control
What You’ll Need
Proven experience in a PMO Lead or Senior PMO Analyst role within software or technology delivery
Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, and delivery assurance frameworks
Experience working in the utilities, energy, or public sector is highly desirable
Confident in mobilising and leading stakeholder forums and client-facing engagements
Proficient in tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Jira
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Project Management methodology qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or AgilePM
