PMO Lead Location: London, HybridEngagement: 12 months Contract - Inside IR35Start: ASAP Pay Rate: £420-480 Depending on experienceSecurity Clearance: UK National with DV mandatory (must already have it to transfer over) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to design, establish, and lead a centralised Project Management Office (PMO) within Project Operations (ProjOPS). This role will play a critical part in strengthening delivery capability across a portfolio of complex internal and strategic change initiatives. The PMO Lead will provide oversight, governance, reporting, and capability development, acting as a trusted advisor and coach to senior stakeholders and project teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and establishment of a central PMO, embedding it as a core function within Project Operations Own the ongoing management and continuous improvement of the PMO to support delivery of large, complex projects Lead capacity building to strengthen project management capability across the organisation Develop and maintain the PMO operating model, standards, and toolkits Establish and embed a consistent governance, oversight, and performance reporting approach across all project types (simple to complex) Maintain oversight of live project delivery, providing regular performance and risk reporting to senior management Support senior leaders with resource planning and deployment of project managers, working closely with stakeholders to understand demand ..... full job details .....
