PMO Lead

About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced PMO Lead to establish, implement and continuously enhance project and portfolio management capabilities within a major technology delivery function.This is a strategic leadership role focused on developing governance, reporting and portfolio management frameworks that enable successful delivery of complex technology programmes. You will provide visibility across multiple initiatives, ensure effective governance and support senior stakeholders in making informed delivery decisions. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement and maintain project and portfolio dashboards, reports and KPIs to provide clear visibility of delivery performance.Monitor budgets, schedules, resource allocation and project risks to ensure successful programme delivery.Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, including reporting standards, escalation processes and compliance controls.Support portfolio prioritisation activities, ensuring projects remain aligned with organisational strategy and business objectives.Act as the key interface between technology delivery, finance, procurement and wider business stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, governance, tools and delivery best practices.Provide guidance on project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Hybrid and traditional approaches.Promote consistent project management standards across the portfolio.
