PMO Consultant

Job Title: PMO Consultant Location: Cheltenham (3-4 days on site) Duration: 12 months+ Rate: 400 per day (SFIA 2) / 450 per day (SFIA 3)OverviewA global engineering organisation is seeking a PMO Consultant to support the delivery of complex, high-value programmes. You will play a key role in governance, financial control, reporting, and delivery assurance across multi-disciplinary projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport PMO functions across complex programmesMaintain governance, controls, and reporting standardsAssist with financial tracking, forecasting, and reporting cyclesManage risks, issues, and dependencies (RAID)Support planning and scheduling activitiesProduce data-driven insights for stakeholdersDrive continuous improvement in PMO processesWork closely with internal teams and clientsSupport and mentor junior PMO staffExperience RequiredStrong PMO / project delivery support experienceFinancial management and reporting capabilityUnderstanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid deliveryExperience with MS Project, Primavera, Power BI or similarStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsAnalytical, organised, and proactive approachWe can only consider applications from those eligible to work in the UK for this position.
