This may include supporting communication, sensory development, learning, personal care, mobility and emotional wellbeing.About the role As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with complex learning and additional needs. Support pupils to access engaging, personalised learning activities. Encourage communication through a range of approaches, including AAC, symbols, objects of reference and sensory communication, where appropriate. Support pupils with personal care, feeding and mobility needs in a respectful and dignified manner. Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, families and other professionals. Observe and record pupils'' progress and contribute to their individual targets.
