SEND Teaching Assistant - Specialist Secondary Setting (Lambeth)We are currently working with a welcoming and highly supportive specialist school in Lambeth that is urgently seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant / Behavioural Specialist to support secondary-aged pupils, with an immediate start available.About the role: You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including:Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), both verbal and non-verbalModerate to severe learning difficultiesComplex needs and associated behavioursThe setting caters for young people who require a highly structured, nurturing environment. Staff work closely with pupils to promote independence, communication, emotional regulation, and positive engagement with learning.We are keen to hear from applicants who have:Experience supporting students with severe ASC and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties, orA genuine passion for working with children and young people with special educational needsExperience with Theatre in Education (TIE), creative workshops, or expressive/interactive approaches to learning is highly desirable.
