PMLD Teaching Assistant – Greenwich
Salary: £85 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term

GSL Education is searching for a dedicated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist school in Greenwich. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support for students with PMLD on a 1:1 and small group basis.

• Assist teachers with delivering differentiated lessons and activities to meet pupils’ individual needs.

• Encourage independence, communication, and personal development through structured support.

• Support with personal care tasks as required, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting students with PMLD, SEND, or complex needs is desirable.

• Compassionate, patient, and resilient approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Understanding of safeguarding and commitment to child protection practices.
