PMLD Teaching Assistant

We''re seeking compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants, Nurses and individuals with medical or complex care experience to join a specialist SEND school in North Liverpool.This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), including pupils with complex physical, medical, sensory and communication needs.Role Responsibilities-Provide one-to-one and small-group support.-Assist with personal care, including toileting and changing.-Support mobility, wheelchair transfers and hoisting.-Assist with medical and care needs, including PEG feeding and epilepsy management, where trained.-Deliver sensory-based activities and support pupil engagement.-Work alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure pupils'' safety and wellbeing.What We''re Looking For-Nurses, Healthcare Assistants or candidates with relevant medical, care or complex needs experience.-Experience with PMLD, PEG feeding, epilepsy, PICA or other complex medical needs is highly desirable.-Confidence with personal care, mobility support and following individual care plans.-A calm, patient and compassionate approach.-Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safeguarding.-Two years of employment references required.What''s On Offer?-Term-time working hours.-Ongoing training, including Team Teach.-The opportunity to make a genuine difference in children''s lives.-Refer a friend and earn up to 250!- 100 joining fee after your first 10 ..... full job details .....
