The school has a hydrotherapy pool and ceiling hoists for students who need assistance.As a PMLD Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a tailored curriculum to students with complex learning needs, the majority (80%) of whom have significantly reduced mobility or are unable to work. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment that supports the individual educational, physical, and sensory needs of each student.Key Responsibilities of PMLD Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, multi-sensory lessons suited to students with PMLD.Implement individualised learning plans (EHCPs) to support student progress.Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to learning.Utilise specialist facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool and ceiling hoists, to aid students mobility and physical development.Foster communication and interaction using assistive technologies, PECS, Makaton, or other relevant ..... full job details .....
