PMLD Teaching Assistant - Greenwich Daily Rate: 95- 115 Start: ASAP Full-Time Long-TermWe are seeking a compassionate and resilient PMLD Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Greenwich, supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) across primary or secondary phases. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in ensuring learners with complex needs can access education in a safe, engaging and inclusive environment.You will be working closely with experienced teachers and therapists to deliver highly individualised support - promoting communication, independence, sensory engagement and wellbeing throughout the school day.ResponsibilitiesProvide personalised 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with PMLD and complex medical or physical needsAssist with the facilitation of sensory-based learning and therapy-led activitiesSupport with personal care, feeding, moving and handling (full training provided)Use communication tools such as PECs, Eye Gaze, and symbol-based systems where requiredHelp to maintain a calm, positive environment that promotes pupil engagement and emotional regulationWork collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and medical teams to deliver holistic supportRequirementsExperience supporting pupils with complex needs (PMLD, SLD, physical disabilities or medical needs)Confident supporting personal care and mobility needsA patient, nurturing approach with strong resilienceWillingness to learn ..... full job details .....
