Job Opportunity: PMLD Learning Support AssistantLocation: Lewisham, South East LondonSchedule: Monday to Friday ? 8:30 AM - 3:30 PMPay: 97 - 115 per day (depending on experience)Are you a compassionate and committed support professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs?We are seeking a dedicated PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Learning Support Assistant to join a specialised SEN unit within a welcoming and inclusive school in Lewisham. The school provides a nurturing environment for students with severe autism, ADHD, physical disabilities (including wheelchair users), and those requiring personal care support.Role Responsibilities:Support students with a wide range of complex needs in a 1:1 and group settingAssist with personal care, feeding, and mobility needsBuild strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage independence and engagementDeliver tailored life skills and sensory-based learning activitiesWork collaboratively with class teachers, therapists, and other support staffEnsure the safety, dignity, and well-being of all students at all timesRequirements:Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN, particularly PMLD and physical disabilitiesComfortable with personal care dutiesA calm, empathetic, and patient approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsDBS on the update service or willingness to apply for oneWhat We Offer:A supportive and friendly team ..... full job details .....
