We are looking for a-Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer-who wants to work in a diverse role-where no two days are the same.-

As the-Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer,-you will-provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The-Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer-will be responsible for:
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical and plumbing systems, including boilers, pumps, pipework, valves, and associated equipment.
- Install, repair, and service mechanical and plumbing components in accordance with specifications and technical drawings.
- Identify and diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and work from technical manuals.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all work complies with current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of planned maintenance schedules.
- Work collaboratively with team members and liaise with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support on-site commissioning and testing of mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Expected to join a 1 in 4 call out rota.
To be successful for this Plumbing & Heating Shift Engineer role you must have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing-or a Mechanical discipline.-
- Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiarity with diagnostic and testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license is preferred.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and continuous improvement.
