We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

Plumbing Lecturer

to join our teaching team. You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to students on plumbing courses (Levels 1-3 and apprenticeships), inspiring them to develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed for a successful career in the plumbing and heating industry.Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in plumbing (theory and practical)Teach learners across Levels 1-3 and apprenticeships, including adult learnersPlan, prepare, and assess learning materials in line with awarding body requirements (e.g. City and Guilds, EAL)Support and guide learners to achieve their qualificationsProvide constructive feedback, academic support, and pastoral careEnsure teaching meets quality standards, safeguarding, and health and safety requirementsStay up to date with plumbing industry developments, including building regulations and water regulationsContribute to curriculum planning, course design, and continuous quality improvementParticipate in staff meetings, professional development, and quality assurance processesMaintain accurate student progress and assessment recordsEssential Requirements

Enhanced DBS clearanceRecognised

Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)Teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)Recent industry experience as a qualified plumberStrong communication and organisational skillsCommitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion in educationDesirable
