Plumbing Lecturer

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Further Education college for an experienced Plumbing Teacher to join their Building Services department. One with some of the best facilities in the UK This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, professional individual to develop and teach plumbing across a range of courses, working with both full-time and part-time learners. You''ll plan, deliver and assess vocational programmes, act as personal tutor to your learner groups, and help shape best practice across the department. Key Responsibilities: Design, deliver and develop plumbing programmes for groups of learners Assess learners against established guidelines Act as personal tutor, providing feedback on progress to students and managers Monitor and manage attendance and standards of behaviour Contribute to quality procedures and self-assessment processes Keep up to date with curriculum developments in the vocational area Requirements: Cert Ed/PGCE or relevant teaching qualification (or willing to work towards) Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational sector Recent, relevant industry experience within plumbing Assessor Award desirable (or willing to work towards) English and Maths to at least Level 2 desirable Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare Benefits: 44 days'' leave (32 days holiday + 8 bank holidays + 4 concessionary days), pro rata for part-time Levelling Up ..... full job details .....
